(LRTP) - LONG RANGE TRANSPORTATION PLAN
The Long Range Transportation Plan (LRTP) is a 25 year future "vision" of the community’s
transportation needs, and is updated approximately every five years. This update
process is a Federal requirement and is one of the major transportation planning
activities conducted by the MPO.

(BPP) - BICYCLE AND PEDESTRIAN PLAN
The Indian River County Bicycle and Pedestrian Plan establishes the blueprint for
bicycle and pedestrian facility construction and programming for Indian River
County.

(TDP) - TRANSIT DEVELOPMENT PLAN
A Transit Development Plan
(TDP) is a multi-year plan required by the Florida Department of Transportation
(FDOT) that calls for a description of the transit agency's vision for public transportation,
along with an assessment of transit needs in the study area and a staged
implementation program to set priorities for improvements. Florida statutes require the adoption of a TDP major update every five years and minor (or annual) updates in interim years. The most recent Indian River County TDP major update was in 2008.

The Priority Projects Report is prepared annually by the MPO and is used by the Florida Department of Transportation as the basis for developing its annual five-year work program.

DBE – DISADVANTAGED BUSINESS ENTERPRISE GOAL
As a recipient of federal public transportation funds, Indian River County is required to establish a Disadvantaged Business Enterprise (DBE) goal regarding the expenditure of federal funds.

TDSP – TRANSPORTATION DISADVANTAGED SERVICE PLAN
The MPO is the Designated Official Planning Agency for Transportation Disadvantaged planning within Indian River County. The TDSP is five-year tactical service delivery plan which contains development, service, and quality assurance components. According to Florida regulations, the TDSP must be updated annually with a major update required every five years. For Indian River County, the most recent major update was adopted in 2013.
