The MPO
has developed a GIS-based software application that uses the
County Property Appraiser's spatial database and attribute
database to determine vacant acreage on both a Countywide
and sub-area basis. The vacant land analysis application will
enable the MPO to develop more accurate socio-economic and
land use data for input into its travel demand forecasting
models. . This information will be critical in developing
the MPO's 2030 Long Range Transportation Plan. Vacant Land Map
