The Treasure Coast Transportation Council(TCTC) is scheduled to meet on April 21, 2021 at 10 a.m. View the agenda. The TCTC meeting will be a "hybrid" in-person/virtual meeting. The Florida Department of Transportation (FDOT), District Four, will conduct a Virtual Public Information Workshop regarding the above referenced project. The project will widen CR 510 to four lanes between CR 512 and 58th Avenue. In addition to widening the roadway, the project includes the installation of sidewalks and buffered bike lanes through the entire corridor. Construction of the first phase is scheduled to begin in the summer of 2024. The roundabout at 66th Avenue is proposed for construction as part of the CR 510 widening project at a later phase. Indian River County will host a public workshop on the resurfacing of Indian River Blvd. between the Merrill Barber Bridge and 53rd Street. As part of the resurfacing project, bike lanes will be installed on both sides of the road. The resurfacing project length is approximately three miles. The public workshop will be on April 8 at 2:00 PM in the First Floor Conference Room, County Administration Building "B" located at 1800 27th Street in Vero Beach, Florida. At the January 27, 2021 MPO meeting, FDOT District Secretary Gerry O'Reilly presented FDOT's Draft Work Program for 2022-2026. The work program includes several of the MPO's long-standing transportation priorities. Highlighted projects include the widening of CR 510, construction of the new I-95/Oslo Road interchange, and replacement of the Sebastian Inlet Causeway (Highway A1A). View the Draft Work Program.
